The Alfred Sommier hotel is located on a calm street, near la Madeleine, right at the center of the Paris business district, halfway between the boutiques on rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and the Printemps and the Galeries Lafayette department stores. Five metro lines, ten bus lines and two RER lines are less than 5 minute walk from the hotel. The Garnier Opera, the Champs Elysées and several theaters are within walking distance.

In 1860, Alfred Sommier and his father who were entrepreneurial sugar refiners, had built their "hotel particulier" in la Madeleine district. They wanted to settle their family and to entertain, in a mansion house corresponding to the prosperity of their business. Well preserved, Alfred Sommier's "hotel particulier" has now been transformed in 2018 by Richard de Warren de Rosanbo, a descendant of the family, into a luxurious hotel which keeps the soul of the family mansion.

Alfred Sommier gathered an entrepreneurial spirit, elegance and a passion for art. Busts and pictures of him are laid out across the hotel and illustrate his empathetic and cultured character. Richard de Warren has infused his style in the soul of the hotel and in the services to the guests.
